LumiOri is a Hong Kong–born sustainable fashion and accessories brand created by two Asian women who grew up in luxury retail, surrounded by the refined lines of Western menswear and the quiet power of craftsmanship. From those years, a question emerged: what if a brand could speak directly to the contemporary Asian woman—complex, rooted in heritage yet confidently global, resilient and rebellious, sensitive and strong?

Heritage Reimagined: Gambiered Canton Gauze

Our debut collection showcases Gambiered Canton gauze (香雲紗), a rare, traditional silk from Guangdong often called “soft gold” for its unique character and value. Through a months-long artisanal process using juice from the gambier plant (薯莨) and river mud, the fabric develops a dual tone: deep black on one side and earthy brown on the other, with a cool, smooth hand and remarkable durability.

In our hands, this heritage textile is reimagined into modern silhouettes designed for everyday wear—pieces that honour history while feeling utterly present.

To complete the story, our accessories incorporate pearl, gold, and polished wood—materials cherished by generations of Asian women. These elements are chosen for how they age, deepen, and carry memory, making each piece:
